What if the posters for the 2012 Oscar-nominated movies told the truth?

Movie posters are a funny thing. They are supposed to sell a movie to a certain niche or audience and they don’t need to be anything else.

They can tease a film, give away a plot point and do many other things. But they hardly tell you the truth about a film. The Shiznit decided to remake the posters for select Oscar-nominated films and told the truth about what the movies are about, or what their goal was. They’re surprisingly accurate as well.

My favorite has to be The Descendants and A Dangerous Method. What’s yours? [The Shiznit]
