Eddie Murphy was supposed to be on the up and up. His career was supposed to be revitalized. Tower Heist was supposed to be a hit. That didn’t happen. Hosting the Oscars was supposed to put him back in the public spotlight, that won’t happen.

Instead, more movies like A Thousand Words will happen. It’s basically Liar Liar 2. Murphy plays a guy who likes to lie. He lies to the wrong guy and gets cursed. He’s linked to a tree now and every time he talks a leaf falls off the tree. When all the leaves fall off he dies. Watch as he gets into tough situations like not being able to argue with his wife or how he can’t talk during business meetings. SO HILARIOUS. Not really, it looks terrible. Why can’t he write down everything he wants to say? Or use text to speech software?
