With the summer blockbuster period in full swing it’s take to look ahead to the end of the year. That begins with the release of the trailer for Les Miserables.

It’s a musical from Tom Hooper, who blew up the Oscars with The King’s Speech. It stars Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried and it’s about a man in 19th century France who is a paroled prisoner seeking redemption.

As you can tell, the trailer is very sing-y. The entire trailer – well, teaser trailer – is set against Hathaway singing about her dreams or something.

I’m liking the look of the film and the costumes (expect an Oscar nomination for either) but there’s nothing else to go on for this.
