The Raid has been one of the more surprising films of the year. It’s just a kick-ass little action film that plays out like a video game (in this case that’s a good thing). To watch it remade with claymation cats is another thing altogether.

If you’re ready to forget this because claymation cats sounds like a kiddy show on Saturday mornings on Nickelodeon you’re wrong. It’s extremely violent. Have you ever seen a cat shoot the clay head off a dog? No? Then you totally should.

Don’t worry though, Lee Hardcastle’s remake won’t spoil the film for you, because it doesn’t really follow the film’s plot and well, there’s no dialogue. There are plenty of scenes that draw from Gareth Evans’ movie though. [/Film]
