Any reservations you had about the Spider-Man movie should be thrown out the window. It looks awesome.

Sony Pictures recently released the trailer and it looks better than the more campy original. For one, Andrew Garfield IS Peter Parker. He looks much more witty than Tobey Maguire’s one and less emo. Also, it looks like we’ll get a much smarter Parker as well.

The Lizard looks great and the “untold story” of Peter’s parents working for Oscorp doesn’t look as corny as I thought it would be. The one problem may come from the balance between Parker’s parents and him “creating” The Lizard. Oh, I also love that Spider-Man is considered a vigilante. Will we be exposed to the Daily Bugle in this film though?
