People got excited when Dexter’s Laboratory and Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky announced that he was doing an animated feature film called Hotel Transylvania. I mean, a movie about Dracula hosting other monsters in a giant hotel? Sounds mucho interasante.

But then the cast was announced and all of a sudden it felt like a Happy Madison production. Do we really need Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade and company to bring down the movie? The teaser trailer showed that yes, that would be a problem. This new one though gives me a little hope.

It doesn’t look like it offers much to adults, but it looks like it could be a fun time. And really, that’s all we’re asking for.
