If you weren’t watching NBC last night you didn’t see the new sneak preview of The Amazing Spider-Man. It’s a 4-minute trailer that shows off some of Spidey’s exploits off. OK, it’s really just 2 new minutes of footage from a bridge battle combined with the latest trailer. But you know what? It still looks pretty great.

I honestly believe a lot of people will be saying “Tobey who?” after they see this movie. Andrew Garfield is looking better and better as Peter Parker as these clips and trailers come out. The one problem, or concern, I have with this thing is the CG looks wonky. It’s probably a stylistic choice but sometimes it looks like I’m watching a video game rather than a movie.

Bad CG can be a distraction. It can take you out of the movie and ruin your experience. Hopefully, during the course of the movie, it’s not an issue.
