Watch the first trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained
Quentin Tarantino isn’t for everyone. If he is for you, you’ll probably like this trailer. If he’s not for you, you probably will be all meh on the trailer.
It certainly looks like a Tarantino movie. It actually reminds me of Jackie Brown. Maybe it’s the music? But it’s definitely less Inglourious Basterds and more of older Tarantino, which isn’t a bad thing.
Leo DiCaprio looks like he’s having fun, just have to mention that. And some of this movie looks brutal, like the scars on Jamie Foxx’s back. Did I mention this is a Tarantino flick? Anyway, the one thing I’m not totally sold on – yet – is Foxx, but I suppose we’ll find out how that works out when we have a full performance to judge him by.
