Back at Sundance, a little horror film called V/H/S took everyone by surprise. It’s scary, it’s a little different and it was the talk of the town. It’s hitting VOD services like iTunes in short time and will have a small theatrical run in October.

The trailer is out and it’s pretty interesting. It’s about a group of kids that are hired to find a specific VHS tape by an unknown party in a desolate house. Of course, they don’t expect what the hell is really going on. Terrifying takes on werewolves, vampires and more are involved.

The anthology includes some nice up and coming horror directors so this movie is a good glimpse at the future of the horror genre. It hits VOD August 31 and hits select theaters October 5. [via The Playlist]
