Brave is Pixar’s first fairy tale. It’s also their first movie with a female lead. It looks absolutely beautiful. I mean, look at Merida’s hair! But there’s something off here.

It doesn’t feel like Pixar. And it doesn’t do a very good job at selling the film. I still have hope that the film will be good, it is Pixar we’re talking about after all. But you can’t really tell from this trailer. The only thing you can tell is that it’s Pixar’s best looking film to date. It looks stunning.
