Peter Jackson’s Hobbit video blogs are a sight to behold. They truly give you a look into the creation of Middle-Earth. Jackson goes through how tiring the filmmaking process is to his thoughts on locations to Andy Serkis and his second unit teams.

So it’s kind of unfair to expect the same thing from Sam Mendes and the team behind the next James Bong flick, Skyfall. The video leaves something to be desired, but Mendes’ thoughts on Bond are quite interesting. He mentions how Daniel Craig reminds him of Sean Connery and how he feels his earlier films were an apprenticeship to Bond, which happens to be his first film shot in his home country of England.
