Did you know who Jon Steward or Quentin Tarantino were in 1994? Probably not. Stewart was hosting the Jon Stewart Show and was showing flashes of his future Daily Show greatness while Tarantino was wrapping up production on a small independent movie called Pulp Fiction.
It’s interesting to see Tarantino preview Pulp Fiction, which ended up becoming the most influential independent movie of all time and one of the most influential films of the 90s (seriously, it changed things). Of course, the scene Tarantino shows off is the Big Mac scene near the beginning, and he also goes over how he thinks up of the dialogue that’s featured in his films.
The only disappointing thing about this video is that Stewart didn’t know who Sergio Leone was. Otherwise, it’s all good. Check it out. [Slyoyster] Thanks Sal!
