When Disney announced that J.J. Abrams would direct Star Wars Episode VII, it sent ripples through the film world like someone threw a cake into a pool.
So Total Film had an idea. Why not, at every press junction possible, ask a bunch of people what they think and whether they would be down for the world of Star Wars and J.J. Abrams? Some of the people they asked are Avengers director Joss Whedon, Mila Kunis, Obi-Wan himself Ewan McGregor, Mark Strong, Stanley Tucci, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, Eli Roth and more.
The most fun one is perhaps Whedon, who basically admits Disney didn’t even let him know because they’d knew he’d be busy (wink wink, nudge nudge). Some other highlights are Mila Kunis, who reveals she’s a Star Trek girl, Eli Roth, who says he’d clear his schedule to make a Star Wars spinoff and Mark Strong, who wants to be a Jedi master.
To Mark Strong: Yes, please. I support you. You would be a wonderful Jedi Master. If there’s another Jedi in the new trilogy other than Luke Skywalker and his clan then Strong must be involved. He’s too talented.
Ahem, it’s a fun segment though. Give it a watch.
