In Looper, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays an assassin who is sent marks from the future to kill. One day he’s sent the older version of himself. Yeah, Looper is crazy. But it also looks crazy good. It’s from writer director Rian Johnson, who was the man behind the excellent Brick (also starred JGL).

I’m sure the movie will end up being Christopher Nolan-level complicated, with different times and paradoxes and some insane-looking action sequences. But really, that’s what we expected. That’s why Looper was on our list of our most anticipated films of 2012. Check out the trailer and start waiting.
