When big name directors and actors team up it can be awesome. They’re longer than usual commercials and they have some flash to them.

This is kind of one of those commercials. There’s certainly a lot of flash, but it’s most interesting seeing Charlize Theron getting nods of approval from former Hollywood royalty.

It’s just a perfume commercial (I think) but I could easily see a movie about the fashion industry starring Theron and directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud, who directed this ad.

Annaud has also directed Seven Years in Tibet and Enemy at the Gates, so he knows what’s he’s doing. [via The Playlist]
