Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan want you to make a Dark Knight Rises TV spot
There’s this new trend where people like to remake awesome movie trailers with hotdogs, paper, LEGOs and other stuff. Warner Bros. and Nolan must have seen this, because now they’re running a promotion encouraging people to cut their own TV spot for the film.
The project is called Imported From Gotham City, which is kind of cute, and you get all these clips that you can cut together. The winner is selected by Nolan himself and you get a trip to New York City for the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises. You also get to work with a professional editor to make your TV spot, but they don’t promise that your spot will air on TV (lame). Of course, they’re just trying to protect themselves from the chance that everyone who enters is terrible and they’re forced to pay big ad money to show a crappy ad.
It’s definitely a fun idea though. You can head to Imported from Gotham City for more details. Get editing! [via /Film]
