Imagine if you worked someplace, on something, for 10 years. Now imagine you worked on that thing as you grew up and your entire life was that work. Now imagine it’s all gone.
That’s what the main cast of Harry Potter went through at the end of filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2. When Harry Left Hogwarts is a 45-minute documentary that shows us the personal side of the actors of those two films. This documentary doesn’t tell you how they made the movie, it tells you the emotional side of that. It tells you how scared they are to move on from the franchise.
Emma Watson, who played Hermione, says it best: “I think people are just waiting for me to screw up.”
This is a must watch for any Potter fan. Hell, anyone who’s watched all 8 movies and has loved them. If you felt sad that Harry Potter is over, at least for now, you should probably watch this documentary.
There is a catch, however. The documentary is only available on the 4-disc Blu Ray edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Oh, and you have to buy it from Target. Otherwise, you probably won’t see this. How’s that for bonus content to get you into a store?
