Ever since Hitch, Kevin James has had an odd career. Hitch was awesome and before that he had the King of Queens. But then, for whatever reason, James turned to Happy Madison productions and hasn’t quite hit his potential.

But this doesn’t look too bad. Yeah, this is a Happy Madison film and it has James, Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler but it actually seems quite interesting. James plays a teacher who signs up for MMA fights to earn money for his school. There’s some nice comedic moments here, but there’s a lot more drama. Yeah, I think we’re looking at a Happy Madison dramedy here. Let’s hope they nail it.
