Blue Sky, also known as the guys who made the Ice Age movies and Rio, have unveiled their brand new movie. It’s called Epic and features the voice talent of Amanda Seyfried, Beyonce, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson and Steven Tyler.

It was originally called Leafmen but was changed to the much blander and more stupid Epic. The trailer mostly looks epic until the characters speak at the end, then you know it’s pretty much going to be like other CG animated films. I certainly hope this turns out good, but I’m not holding my breath.

Oh, it’s about a girl who’s transported into a battle between good and evil and has to save their world, which is filled with nature. Sounds like Ferngully? It does to me. [via Deadline]
