Paul Thomas Anderson is an extraordinary filmmaker. There Will Be Blood is still one of my favorite movies, and I’m not even talking about his much better early stuff.

The stuff in the trailer is in line with the earlier footage we’ve seen. We get the same bombastic score that PTA is known for, and there are a ton of good actors in here. This is looking like quite the film and a contender for awards season at the end of the year.
