This paleontologist turned a Jurassic Park reenactment into a wedding proposal
A lot of young paleontologists cite Jurassic Park as one of the reasons they got interested in the field. Sure, it might not be 100% accurate, but it can get the blood flowing in a little kid for the field and that’s great.
A paleontologist convinced his paleontologist girlfriend to accompany him to a fictional “Snakewater, Montana” to reenact the “annoying kid” scene from the first Jurassic Park. Yeah, they both really love Jurassic Park. The two start out by doing the scene for the camera on an extremely windy day, but eventually the guy turns on his girlfriend. No, he doesn’t leave her there. He pulls out a wedding ring on a velociraptor claw.
It’s quite sweet. He hints at another video about the wedding. I assume he’s going to resurrect dinosaurs or put his wedding in the T-Rex’s cage with a lamb. Or he’ll just do something at the Jurassic Park-themed section of Universal Studios theme park. [via Vulture]
