This is the evolution of The Hulk in Marvel’s movies

Special effects have come a long way in a short time. It gets easier and easier to make photorealistic CG creations as time goes on. The best example is to look at the evolution of the Hulk. After all, there’s been a gap of at least four years between the films. Thanks to Reddit and its users tomhagen and oxygen_addiction you can look at all three at the same time:

As you can see, Ang Lee’s Hulk looks like a toy. It works great for Toy Story, but for a movie it kind of looks silly.

The Hulk from Edward Norton’s Incredible Hulk is much better looking. You can see wrinkles, pores and sweat on him. The problem is that it doesn’t look like Norton, it kinda is just a generic dude.

That changes with Joss Whedon’s Hulk, which is the most impressive because it has everything Norton’s Hulk has but it’s also based on Mark Ruffalo, which makes him look a bit more real. Which is your favorite Hulk? [Reddit]

My favorite Hulk is Joss Whedon’s. Much more realistic.

El de Edward Norton’s lejos es el mejor. Mucho mas realista, no es jorobado como el de The Avengers.

I liked Norton’s more than Ruffalo’s. The main reason being, he didn’t act like an ape the entire time. The Hulk is described as a monsterous man, not a monsterous ape. A few more small reasons were that Ruffalo’s Hulk looked like he had hair gel and a flat face. But if Ruffalo were to stand with his back straight instead of on all fours, I could let the small ones go. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
