When a movie, such as Transformers: Dark of the Moon, makes over a billion dollars you can guarantee more films will follow. And that’s what Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner during a conference call.

Hasbro is in “active discussions” with Paramount about the next Transformers film. That includes Executive Producer Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay, who directed the first three films. It’s not known whether Bay would direct or produce the next film. He did say after Dark of the Moon that he was done with the franchise and he wanted to make something with a smaller budget. But, really Michael Bay? I don’t think he could resist another romp in excess.
