Marvel has a nice little thing they do during all their films. They insert scenes either during or after the credits. They’re fun little scenes that hint at another movie and get the fans all excited. So of course, they’re doing the same thing for The Avengers. Except that they’re doing it twice.

Yup, there are two extra scenes. There’s one during the credits and one after the credits. I won’t spoil them here because it’s much more fun seeing it unfold on the big screen. Anyway, the second scene was shot just a couple of weeks ago – after the world premiere. Confirmation has come from multiple places and it looks like it’s exclusive to North American audiences, which is nice because we get the film last.
