The trailer for voice actor documentary I Know That Voice has plenty of voices you recognize

There are two under-appreciated forms of acting out there, even amongst acting. One happens to be the newer and more hip performance capture, which is used in movies like The Adventures of Tintin, Avatar and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The other is the old and more traditional straight voice acting.

Voice acting has become important. So much so that big name live-action actors do animated films and TV shows now. The best voice actors are still the traditional voice actors though. You know them as the voice of Batman, Bubbles from Power Puff Girls and Doug Funnie. But they’re really known as Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong and Billy West.

I Know That Voice talks to them and many more voice actors on what it’s really like being a voice actor. It delves into some of the history and the misconceptions as well. Basically, it’s looking like a must watch when it eventually comes out. And yes, it even talks about how video games have become a good source of jobs for all of them. [via Movies.com]
