The first trailer for Looper was very interesting but ultimately confusing for most folks. So, he kills people through time and his old self is sent back for his young self to kill? Huh!?

But that first trailer was cut in a way so you get a general idea for the film and not many details. This new trailer gives you all the details. Sure, it also gives away some of the movie but would you rather have a thorough understanding of a movie you’re going to watch or have no clue and miss out on a potentially awesome movie?

And Looper is definitely a potentially awesome movie. The action here looks good, despite looking like something from Inception mixed with Back to the Future mixed with Total Recall. Now, I’ve seen people say this reminds them of Inception but that makes no sense as one was about dreams and one is about time traveling assassins.

The big question for this one is whether the script is smart and makes sense all the way through, because if it stumbles along or has massive plot holes it’s going to lose people. Unfortunately, we’re going to have to wait till late September to watch it.
