The Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie has been delayed due to script issues

The Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has drawn the rage of fanboys from across the world. Wait, they’re aliens and not mutants or turtles? Wait wait, they’re not teenagers? It really made no sense. Bay basically said to calm down and wait till the movie is ready.

Well, guess what? Even Paramount is not sure about this film. They’ve delayed the film six months because of script issues. What’s a script issue? It means the script isn’t good enough to start producing yet. The movie was originally scheduled for December 2013 but will not hit in May 2014.

I’m hoping they scrap it and start again with something that makes more sense. Like hey, how about a movie about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. [THR via /Film]
