The Iceman is based on the true story of Richard Kuklinski (it just sounds like the most perfect hit man  name, doesn’t it?). He was thought to have killed about 100 people from 1964 to 1986, and was also known as a loving husband and a devoted father.

Michael Shannon has been on an absolute tear recently and looks to continue his sharpness here too. Plus, it’s always nice to see Winona Ryder and Ray Liotta get a good role. I’m not entirely sure if the film will be good, but it seems like it’s worth a watch simply to watch Shannon own a role once again. After all, that was also the only reason to watch Premium Rush.
