Finally. Wreck-It Ralph built up some big buzz last year at D23 and Comic-Con and it’s easy to see why. It seems to be a love letter to video games, classic video games especially.

Ralph is a bad guy in a Donkey Kong like game who is tired of doing the same thing over and over again and is being hated on, so he goes to try to be a hero in the cutesy kid game Sugar Rush, a Halo-like game and more. The villain roundtable scene in particular is pretty nostalgic. A Pac-Man ghost? Zangief from Street Fighter? Bowser? Hell yeah.

If Disney can deliver on this like they did with Tangled we’ll be in good hands with Wreck-It Ralph. [via IGN]
