Review: The Avengers

Audiences have been waiting for six years, and some change, for The Avengers.

And it doesn’t disappoint.

As a project this movie and its many prequels are one hell of an accomplishment.

It shouldn’t work to pull that many stories, that many actors,  themes and personalities.

But like a rag-tag group of super heroes, it does.

Any flaw with the prequels, any flaw with the story telling, acting or production design is done away with because Joss Whedon delivers a movie that is a funny, exciting story-driven thrill ride that will reduce most people in the audience to a kid.

Simply put: This movie is excellent.

Whedon, Kevin Feige, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Rufallo, Stan Lee et. al should be very proud.

Because it was worth every minute of waiting.
