Steve Jobs, founder of Pixar, has passed away (Updated)
Steve Jobs is often remembered for changing computing and revolutionizing smartphones, but he’s not known for some of his other exploits.
He was one of the key cogs in the founding of Pixar, allowing them to create classics like Toy Story and Finding Nemo. He also helped usher in iTunes, which is one of the premier video on demand portals on the web for movies. Apple’s website also plays host to many movie trailers, some even getting their debut. He also sold Pixar to Disney and has a seat on their board of directors. He also brought the world video editors like Final Cut, which is what a good portion of Hollywood uses to edit their films.

Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.
His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.
Steve Jobs definitely touched everyone. Not only people close to him, but the people who used his products. Whether you love your iPhone, get work done on your Mac or laugh and cry at a Pixar film. Steve Jobs has touched the way you live.
