Celebrities from Tim Robbins to Kanye West have been dropping by Occupy Wall Street protests to show their support for the 99%, and now it looks like the entire production of The Dark Knight Rises will drop by as well.

According to the LA Times, the production of The Dark Knight Rises is going to be in New York under the fake production name of Magnus Rex.

Now, the Occupy movement won’t be written into the film. Nolan don’t operate that way, you see. Instead, the film has some scenes of protests, most likely, so Nolan is doing what any good filmmaker would do: take advantage. Why stage a protest when you can get an authentic one?

The production will be in New York for 2 weeks starting October 29, and a casting call is looking for people familiar with military/law enforcement training, weapons training or martial arts training. Get to it! [LA Times via Moviefone]
