Rihanna will appear in Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel’s The End of the World

Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel’s new project The End of the World is gathering up steam. Rogen is set to make his co-directing debut with the film and the comedy duo have promised a whole lotta cameos in the film.

So the first cameo has been outed by their friend James Franco, who will appear in the movie as well. Hell, it’s safe to say most people who have appeared in a Judd Apatow-produced film will appear in this movie. Franco, who declined the opportunity to appear in a Rihanna music video, has confirmed that the star will appear in the movie in some capacity.

It’s a nice move for Rihanna, who goes from action blockbuster Battleship to comedy disaster movie The End of the World.

Here are Franco’s exact words to MTV about the songstress:

“She actually asked me to be in that video, the one with the relationship that gets crazy. I couldn’t do it. But, I guess, I hope that that means there’s mutual love between us [and] I think she’s gonna be in the new movie that I’m doing, Seth Rogen’s directorial debut. I think she has a little part in that.”

So if you’re tallying it up, the movie has the following stars lined up: Rogen, Baruchel, Franco, Rihanna, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride and Aziz Ansari. Who else would you like to see in this movie? [MTV via The Playlist]
