When you first think about Cars Land it might be a little hard to think of a way for Disney to make their Cars characters come to life. Well, stop thinking. Disney and its Imagineers are much smarter than us, because they’ve did it.

As a part of the Radiator Springs Racers ride at Cars Land, Disney has brought it’s famous characters to life in a big way. They’re animatronic, with some magic lighting thrown in but holy tires do they look amazing.

I imagine any kids that go on this ride will be going absolutely insane over these things. They literally look like they’ve been pulled out of the film and are computer generated, but in real life. They have character and emotion. Disney nailed it here. Cars Land opens June 15. [Inside the Magic]
