In movies, when you’re starting a new scene you get someone with one of those clapperboard film slates to mark off the scene so in post production you can tell which take is which, etc etc.

Tarantino may have the best int he business. She spouts random things relevant to the scenes. Like hey, remember when Brad Pitt is supposed to speak Italian or at least have an Italian accent but can’t manage it in Inglourious Basterds? She starts spouting things like ravioli, spaghetti right before she claps the board.

Of course, you can see that this unsettles the actors. Some look confused (Michael Fassbender), some can’t stop laughing (Diane Kruger) and some are so stuck in character they get mad as the character (Christoph Waltz). [via Reddit]
