The Paranormal Activity franchise has turned into the pre-eminent horror film the past 6 years, and that’s because enough young adults get the crap scared out of them by moving objects in a found footage format than anything else these days.

So we get a fourth one, which looks like it takes all the previous plot and boils it down to this. The crazy shit that goes on in the main house spills over to the neighbors. And it’s enhanced! Now, the spirits can alter the Internet! Watch as her iChat goes to hell.

Although there’s a creepy vibe here there’s nothing that terrifies me. Now it’s just going to star a blonde teenage girl. Let’s hope she isn’t stupid. That’s all we can ask for, right?
