Here it is! Finally! Can you believe it!? It only took like four months for Oscar winner Jean Dujardin to land himself a big Hollywood role. And yes, he’s going to talk this time.
The French actor will play a Swiss banker in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street. He joins a cast that already boasts Leo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill. And yes, he will talk in this film. No tap dancing for him. Well, unless his banker is awarded millions of dollars.
I’m quite excited for this as I really enjoyed Dujardin in both The Artist and the French spy spoofs OSS 117. He’s certainly got some talent and it’s nice to know Scorsese is going to give him time to shine. And let’s face it, Scorsese will probably get another film to the Oscars. Now, can Scorsese cast Uggie as well? [Variety via Vulture]
