Most people who have seen The Avengers have raved about one character – The Hulk. He’s bad ass, he’s a monster, he destroys crap and he will make you want another Hulk film. That popularity has grown and it’s likely to grow even more once the film releases in the US this weekend.

Marvel has been sheepish about a new Hulk movie, mostly because the first two have just done OK. But Hulk comic sales have increased, interest is growing and Marvel may take advantage. Marvel’s Paul Gitter, who is President of Consumer Products says there will be another movie on the way.

He tells Forbes that as long as interest continues to grow Marvel will spin him off into his own movie for 2015. Of course, the buck stops with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, so it’s up to him if Hulk gets a new film. I can’t see it not happening though, especially after May 4th. [Forbes via /Film]
