Two weeks. That’s all that’s left between now and when the general public can watch The Avengers. So now Marvel starts releasing clips of their film to build anticipation. They aren’t too spoilerish, but if you want the movie preserved for yourself you shouldn’t watch them.

The first one is Captain America and Thor kicking some ass. Well, Thor kicking some ass. Captain America kind of falls to the wayside here but Thor uses his hammer to smash a Toyota-looking vehicle a good 20 yards at least.

In the second clip below we see Iron Man and Thor going at it. Of course, The Avengers don’t get along at first (we know this from the trailer) and they have to learn to work as a team. This clip is pretty awesome. Who doesn’t want to see the power of thunder god Thor versus the smarts of Tony Stark? Unfortunately, it doesn’t look too good for Stark.

One thing is evident from both of these scenes. The action in The Avengers is going to be pretty jaw-dropping. We haven’t even seen The Hulk yet.
