The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters by December 2012 but that isn’t happening anymore as Warner Bros. announced that it would be delayed 6 months.

Man of Steel will now come out on June 14, 2013. This comes just a couple days after it was reported that the film was undergoing rewrites from 300 writer Kurt Johnstad.

Film stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon with Zach Snyder directing and Christopher Nolan producing. I want to believe this is a good thing for the film but I’m not sure. Rewrites never has the best connotation, in almost any situation you use it in. Hopefully the film is OK and not in jeopardy in sucking horribly. [Variety via The Daily Blam]
