Jiro Ono is an 85-year old sushi chef. He’s considered to be the greatest sushi chef in the world. And he works in a small restaurant in a Tokyo subway.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi is a documentary that follows around the Japanese national treasure and takes us into his life, his obsession and his relationship with his son. He wants his son to follow in his footsteps, and the trailer hints at the fact that Jiro’s son feels an enormous amount of pressure to do so. How do you live up to a father that’s the greatest in the world at something?

There’s a lot of beautiful imagery in the trailer, and the food looks damn good. I’m kind of worried the movie will make me extremely hungry though.
