WARNING: SPOILERS FOLLOW

All right, so normally J.J. Abrams is pretty secretive about his set and costumes and all that. In fact, he’s having his actors on Star Trek 2 wear Bad Robot coats to cover up their costumes.

But that didn’t stop MTV, who got some stills of production from the sets of Star Trek 2. J.J. Abrams is going to be pissed.

The first image has Zachary Quinto, as Spock, delivering a Vulcan death grip to new villain Benedict Cumberbatch. We don’t know who his character is, but he’s evil. Cumberbatch eventually breaks out and overpowers Spock and has to deal with Uhura.

Zoe Saldana (Uhura) tries to save Spock, as we can see here. Does she succeed? Does she fail? Is this all a ploy? Who knows, all we know is that we can’t wait for this film to come out. [MTV via Slashfilm]
