Francis Ford Coppola will preview his next film at Comic Con
Francis Ford Coppola is a legend. And although he hasn’t attained the success he had with The Godfather he’s still relevant, and now he will be attending Comic Con with his new movie.
His new film is called Twixt, which came to him in a dream he had while visiting Istanbul. Apparently, the film is inspired, or the dream was inspired, by the writings of Edgar Allen Poe and Nathaniel Hawthorne. It stars Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, Elle Fanning and Ben Chaplin.
He’ll be showing it in an odd and interactive way, with live music and a performance artist. Apparently that’s how he wants fans to experience the film when it opens as well. Yeah, this movie may be one hell of a trip. It’s going to have both 2D and 3D parts as well. Coppola expressed his desire to return to Comic Con because he had fond memories of when we went there with his Dracula film a while ago. Sounds good to us, Mr. Coppola. [Moviefone]
