When you see movie marketing you want to see creativity. You want to see their passion for their film. You want it to wow you because it represents the film in a way.
Fox did … some of that with the new poster for A Good Day to Die Hard. As you can see, they basically took the Live Free or Die Hard poster and inserted Russia in the background, that way you can see it’s a different movie.
What probably happened is this: someone forgot to make the poster for the licensing expo in Las Vegas so some intern was handed the job and just did the job in Photoshop in an hour. If there’s any other explanation it’s basically a lie. [via FilmDrunk]
