Disney’s animated video game movie Wreck-It Ralph will have cameos from classic Nintendo, Atari and Sega characters
The best way to explain Wreck-It Ralph is to call it a video game version of Toy Story. See, this movie takes place inside an arcade. When that arcade closes all the characters interact and connect. Except they don’t come out of the arcade.
The game follows Ralph, voiced by John C. Reilly, a villain in the Rampage meets Donkey Kong game Fix It Felix Jr. Ralph decides he doesn’t want to be a bad guy anymore so he ventures into other games to become a hero. New footage presented at CinemaCon have confirmed that the film will have Roger Rabbit-style cameos from the classic characters of Nintendo, Sega, Atari, Midway and more.
Here are some of the characters confirmed:
- Bowser from Super Mario Bros.
- Doctor Eggman (Robotnic) from Sonic the Hedgehog
- Kano from Mortal Kombat
- A ghost from Pac-Man
- Zangief from Street Fighter
- Coily the Snake from Q*Bert
If you’re a huge fan of video games you may want to keep an eye on Wreck-It Ralph. [/Film]
