Dailies 5/4/12: Scream TV show, World War Z reshoots and more

If you’re really excited for The Dark Knight Rises then you have to sign up for AMC Theaters’ Dark Knight Marathon. You know you want to.

Oh and you can watch the new footage from the MTV Movie Awards. It’s pretty great, unlike the MTV Movie Awards.

If you’re excited for the movie that comes out this week then you should definitely check out the Prometheus trailer remade with paper. I would have never had the patience to do that.

If you saw the movie that came out last week, Snow White and the Huntsman, you know it was pretty bad. But hey, this is how they made those cool dwarves.

Oh, The Avengers is now the third highest grossing film of all time.

Emma Watson with an American accent in the film version of The Perks of Being a Wallflower? OK, sure.

Sure is the softest word I’d use if you asked me to watch Aaron Sorkin’s Syracuse commencement speech. It’s a damned good one and filled with West Wing references.

This won’t have West Wing references: Music Television, aka MTV, wants to make a TV show based on the Scream horror film.

In other TV news, that Hannibal Lecter TV show has casted its Hannibal Lecter: it’s the bad guy from Casino Royale. The one with the scar on his face and the hot girl with the red dress? That’s him.

In other horror property news, the Brad Pitt zombie movie World War Z is going back under the knife for two months of reshoots. That’s a terrible sign. A terrible, terrible sign.
