Warner Bros. came to Comic-Con with a surprise of their own: a teaser trailer for their Gareth Edwards-directed Godzilla.

The teaser shows off a destroyed city with a fallen monster at the center, the rubble and stuff falls off and he wakes up and roars in his trademark style. Of course, this got a huge reaction at Comic-Con. No word on whether it’ll hit the interwebz soon, but director Edwards told Hall H this today:

“The idea is to see if this really happened, what would it be like.”
