Comic-Con 2012: Universal Studios to debut Silent Hill and Walking Dead Halloween Horror Nights
Every year, Universal Studios takes their theme parks and turns them into a nightmare. They use their horror properties to turn the theme park into one giant haunted house. They divide the park into different zones that are based on films.
Last year, they used Hostel as a zone. This year, they’ve announced (at Comic-Con) that they will be creating Silent Hill and Walking Dead zones for fans to get the crap scared out of them in.
Silent Hill marks the first time the theme park will use a video game property to power a zone, but it’s not surprising given that it’s going to promote the game Silent Hill: Book of Memories and the film release of Silent Hill: Revelation 3D when it hits theaters on October 26.
Some of the past themed zones include The Thing, Saw, Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Nightmare on Elm Street and the aforementioned Hostel zone. [Deadline]
