All right, true believers: Marvel has announced Phase 2 of their film project. The movies are Thor: The Dark World, Iron Man 3, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.

The second Thor is likely to focus on a new planet, with the God of Thunder focusing on galactic forces. Captain America is going to deal with The Winter Soldier in some capacity, Iron Man 3 is the Extremis storyline and nanotechnologies, Ant-Man is about a guy that can grow big or small and Guardians of the Galaxy is about a group of rag-tag aliens. We haven’t been too high on the possibility of an Ant-Man film, but /Film points out that it’s got a heavy comedic element and that works. Yes, an Ant-Man movie looks good. They also note that Edgar Wright’s take looks a lot more like Hot Fuzz than other Marvel movies, but that’s not such a bad thing. We may be looking at the first Marvel comedy. [Movies.com, /Film]
