How’s this for an epic foursome of film? Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on December 14, then the Ang Lee-directed Tobey Maguire drama Life of Pie a week later (Dec. 21) WITH the Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer Lone Ranger remake and NOW Brad Pitt-starrer World War Z.

Phew.

I don’t know if I can handle that. I mean, are they trying to bankrupt people? How do you choose between Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt? What if you miss The Hobbit on its opening weekend? Something’s gotta give. But for now, we’re stuck on this.

World War Z follows Pitt, who plays a United Nations employee, who travels the world in a race against time to stop a Zombie pandemic that threatens to rip our world and its governments to shreds. So, basically: A zombie film starring Brad Pitt. Gahhh, that or Depp as Tonto. I’m conflicted. What about you? [THR]
